A bit more about the Circularity Foundation
The Circularity Foundation is an educational trust and research organisation set up to advance learning about the circular economy. This is achieved through the provision of learning opportunities, sponsoring and undertaking research, and through delivering workshops, conferences, seminars and ‘change conversations’.
The Circularity Foundation is working to support the communities of interest in circular economies to manage complexities arising from rapid changes in the resources and waste sector. To this end, we are working toward hosting a series of change conversations intended to explore what is changing in the resources and waste sector, and how these changes are supporting and/or creating barriers to the transition to a more circular economy.

Secretariat Support
The Circularity Foundation benefits from secretariat, educational programme development, and other support provided by Only Solutions LLP. Only Solutions is a limited liability partnership (LLP) dedicated to adult and community education who bring a wealth of experience in:
- Designing and delivering courses in colleges and in the community, e.g. providing accredited and non-accredited adult educational programmes, and working with mixed groups of residents and staff in care homes.
- Developing holistic approaches to relaxation and well-being, e.g. supporting work in hospices, and training healthcare professionals.
- Empowering learners through active citizenship and community development education, e.g. heading up a cross-sectoral partnership delivering an active citizenship training course to a mixed groups of students, professional service providers and community activists, and developing a Foundation Degree programme in Community Regeneration and Development.
- Offering social and environmental learning opportunities to communities of place and communities of interest, e.g. designing and delivering an environmental citizenship course in conjunction with the Workers Educational Association, and organising and facilitating a change conversation where community issues were explored in depth allowing for analysis and recommendations for improvements.
- Supporting and enabling community-building, e.g. coordinating a national support network for community volunteer groups.
- Applying systems thinking and quality management to community development and to support ‘learning communities’, e.g. as lead consultants helping deliver a European-funded social change project linking post-industrial communities by developing quality toolkits and supporting dialogue between communities and decision-makers / service providers.
